Mr. Sudipto Sarkar,holds degrees in B.Sc. (Maths-Hons.) from Presidency College, Kolkata; B.A. (Law Tripos), M.A. (Law) and LL.M, (International Law) from Jesus College, Cambridge, UK. He is also Barrister, Gray’s Inn, London. A renowned lawyer and author of several authoritative legal textbooks, Mr. Sarkar, as a practicing Senior Advocate, specializes in the areas of Commercial and Corporate Laws. Presently, he has been a Director on the Boards of Vesuvius India Ltd., EIH Ltd., EIH Associated Hotels Ltd., Eveready Industries India Ltd. He was formerly a Director of BSE Ltd., JSW Steel Ltd., B & A Ltd., McNally Bharat Engineering Co. Ltd., Descon Ltd. etc. He has also acted as an arbitrator in domestic and international matters and has been a member of the Panel of Arbitrators of Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) and Pacific International Arbitration Centre (PIAC).
